Kraks Fond Prize for Best Student Paper at the European Meeting
The Urban Economics Association and the Kraks Fond – Institute for Urban Economic Research are awarding a prize for best student paper at the European Meeting of the UEA.
Winners of the Kraks Fond Prize:
- 2018 Düsseldorf:
Jan David Bakker (University of Oxford and CEP), "International Trade and Regional Inequality".
Jacob Krimmel (University of Pennsylvania, Wharton), "Persistence of Prejudice: Estimating the Long Term Effects of Redlining".
Jan and Jacob received a cash prize of 1500 Euro each.
Prize committee: Don Davis, Gilles Duranton, Stephen Heblich, Christian Hilber, Miren Lafourcade, Ismir Mulalic, Henry Overman, Elisabet Viladecans.
- 2017 Copenhagen:
Andrii Parkhomenko (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Barcelona GSE), "The Rise of Housing Supply Regulation in the U.S.: Local Causes and Aggregate Implications". Andrii received a cash prize of 1500 Euro.
